"Ashley do you have the keys?" "
" Yes i do I'm going in the car with Maggie"
"Okay i will meet you out in the car in a few seconds."
Once we were all in the car we were headed off to have a fantastic day at the park. When we arrived at the park it was very quite but the field was all muddy because it rained the night before.
Ashley said " I am going to rinse my feet off in the water I will be right back"
While Ashley was over near the water, Paul and Maggie noticed she was gone for quite a while. Maggie was worrying about her so she ran over and said "mom are you okay?" She said "ya I'm fine, I just dropped something and cannot figure out where it has gone!"
When they were finally coming home from the park Ashley could not tell what happened. " I don't know what to do. I lost my my wedding ring! I cannot tell Paul,he will kill me."
When Paul pulled in the driveway, Maggie ran inside because it was around 5 o'clock and her favorite T.V. show was I Carly. " Maggie, why did you slam the door?" " Because I am so excited."
Every night when they goes to bed Ashley and Paul have this little jar to put both of their rings in, so she was very nervous that he would find out because the jar is always on his side. So that night Ashley pretended she put her ring in the jar and then quietly snuck the jar to her side of the bed. Since Ashley took the jar before he put his ring in, Paul woke up in the middle of the night to take it off. Thank goodness that is was dark because when Paul noticed that it wasn't there he walked over to put it in and he couldn't tell if hers was there or not.
When the next morning came, Ashley went down stairs to get Maggie's lunch ready while Paul was in the shower. Ashley was thinking to herself, " I cannot keep hiding this from him."
When Meggie got on the bus to go to school Paul was heading out the door to go to work.
" Bye honey." said Paul
Ashley was going to stop him and tell him about the incident, but she didn't have the confidence so she promised herself she would do it tonight.
Paul got home early today so he dropped Maggie off at soccer. Since it was only Paul and Ashley, she decided to do it.
" Paul I need to tell you something." " Yes what is it darling ."
Please don't get mad but I lost my wedding ring." Ashley mumbled in a very nervous voice
" Oh wow! I didn't expect that. When did this happen?' Paul said with anger in his voice.
"At the park, I think when I was in the lake with Maggie"
"Well that is going to be very hard to find. I think we should go back to the park because maybe it fell of your hand in the grass or something."
So when Maggie got home and found out what happened they all took a ride to the park and went on a little scavenger hunt for the ring. They all re-traced their steps that day to see if Ashley dropped it in a different location in the park. Since Maggie was with them she helped look. She was running all over the place and around the pond there were all sorts of rocks. So Maggie said to herself " I see something glowing around the rocks and she was digging and she saw and reached for the object.
" Oh my gosh, I might of found the ring!" Maggie claimed. When she was digging through the rocks and she got to the object, it turned out it was just a wrapped up ball of tin foil.
" I'm so upset I thought I was going to be a hero." That would of made my day! " Maggie drooped her head." Since Maggie was so mad she threw the tin foil in the littel stream right next to her.

Later on still no ring and they were all getting a little frusterated. All the sudden when Maggie was thinking she heard a noise.
" What is that, I think it is coming behind me."
When Maggie was trying to discover what is was she looked behind into the stream. There was the ball of tin foil. It got caught on a stick and was raddling. So she picked the stick up with the tin foil. While the tin foil was being unwrapped Maggie was very suspicious.
" I hear something,I hear something, mom hurry up!"
Ashley and Paul rushed over to hear what all the noise was about. They were all staring at the ball of tin foil and slowly watched what was inside.
Maggie opened it so fast they didn't even notice what was inside. Of course when the object fell out it landed in a ditch. so while Paul was digging the hole, Maggie an Ashley kept looking with no luck.
Fianlly Paul hit something. He didn't say that he found something because he wanted to see what it was first.
" I got it, I got it. It was the wedding ring! I can't believe I found it."
"Maggie we better get going it's getting late."Ashely replied.
When Paul was heading over to Ashley she didnt know why he had such a big smile on his face. " What is it? Why do you have such a big smile Paul? Ashley said in a quite voive
" Well I found something that you might like.
''Really what is it?!"
Paul pulled it out of his pocket and said "were you looking for this?"
"You found it! You really did." Ashley couldnt belive her eyes. I am so proud of you It is just the best possibel moment right now.
"Were was it?" Ashley repied with excitment
" In the tin foil, it fell out when you opened it and nobody even noticed.
" I just cannot believe this." Ashley screamed.
I am going to the store tomorrow to get the ring re-sized and I am never going to have this caose happen ever again!
